Notes on Russell Aaron Wilson
Russell A. Wilson, 83, died at 7:45 pm Thursday, February 20, 1992, in Three Springs Lodge at Chester. Mr. Wilson was a retired guard at Menard Correctional Center in Chester, IL.

He was born March 31, 1908, in Murphysboro, to William Perry Wilson and Harriet Downen Wilson. He married Lura Alberta Vancil on November 5, 1933. She died March 25, 1984. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister, Rachel Carlton of Chester; and one brother, Neal J. Wilson, of Chester. His parents preceded him in death. Burial will be in Ava Evergreen Cemetery.
