Amelia Hasker (daughter of George
Washington Hasker and Jennie
Loretta McIntosh) was born December
10, 1887 in Irwin, Kankakee Co, IL, and
died September 03, 1973 in Riverside Hospital
Kankakee, IL. She married Frank
Otto Schneider on March 22, 1910 in
1st Methodist Church, Kankakee, IL, son
of Albert
Charles Louis Schneider and Therese
Amanda Birtha Birr.

OBITUARY
MRS. SARAH "SADIE' SCHNEIDER, 85,
DIES
Mrs. Sarah "Sadie" H. Schneider,
85 of Heritage House, former owner of
the Albert Schneider and Sons Insurance
and Travel Agency, died at 4 a.m. Monday
at Riverside Hospital. She had been
ill for a short time.
A lifelong resident of Kankakee area,
Mrs. Schneider was a member of the Asbury
United Methodist Church, a 50 year member
of the Order of the Eastern Star, a
50 year member of the Kankakee Women's
Club, a charter member of the Kankakee
Historical Society, a member of the
Daughters of the American Revolution,
the Kankakee Art League and Halcoyon
Club.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
W. Hasker, she was born Dec. 10, 1887
in Irwin.
On March 22, 1910 in Kankakee, she married
Frank O. Schneider, who died Nov. 30,
1943. Mr. Schneider was the former president
of Kankakee Federal Savings and Loan
Association.
Survivors include sons, H. Glenn Schneider
and Donald R. Schneider both of Kankakee:
a brother Ray G. Hasker of Coral Gables
Fla.: six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday
at the Phillips, Friday and Schreffler
Funeral Home. Dr. Harold J. Guenther
of the Asbury United Methodist Church
will officiate.
Visitation at the funeral home will
be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorials in her name have been established
for the Heart Association and for the
Leukemia Fund.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah "Sadie"
H. Schneider, 85, of Heritage House,
who died Monday were held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday. Dr. Harold J. Guenther of
the Asbury United Methodist Church conducted
the services at the Phillips, Friday
and Schreffler Funeral Home. Pallbears
were Charles, David, John, and Richard
Schneider, William Walters and George
Searls.
Burial was in Mound Grove Gardens.
She
received a 50 Year pin & life membership
from Mrs. Keith Smith, president of
the Kankakee Woman's Club Oct 5, 1961.
LAST
WILL AND TESTAMENT
I, Sarah H. Schneider (also know as
Sadie Schneider) of 2552 Waldron Road,
Kankakee, Illinois 60901, being of legal
age and of sound and disposing mind
and memory, do hereby make, ordain,
publish and declair this to be my last
will, hereby revoking all former wills
and codicils by me at any time heretofore
made.
FIRST: I direct that my executors pay
as promptly as possible all my debts,
the expense of my last illness, funeral
expenses and expenses of administration
of my estate, and all succession and
other taxes of any kind that may be
levied against my estate, or against
the beneficiaries of this will.
SECOND: I bequeath one-half of the residue
of my estate, after the payment of such
debts, expenses and taxes, to my son
H. Glenn Schneider, to be his absolute
property forever.
THIRD: I bequeath the other half of
the residue of my estate, after the
payment of such debts, expenses and
taxes, to my son Donald R. Schneider,
to be his absolute property forever.
FOURTH: If either of my said sons, or
both of them, should be deceased at
the time of my death, then I give, devise
and bequeath the estate hereinabove
given to any such deceased son to his
children in equal shares.
FIFTH: I appoint my said sons, H. Glenn
Schneider and Donald R. Schneider, to
be co-executors of this will, hereby
requesting that no surety be required
of their bond as such executors.
I hereby authorize and empower my said
executors to sell, and convey and encumber
any or all of the properth, real or
personal, that I may own at the time
of my death in their sole discretion
should they deem it necessary to do
so in order to facilitate the administration
of settlement of my estate.
SIXTH: Should neither of my said sons
survive me, then I appoint Mary Schneider
and Lorraine Z. Schneider to be co-executors
of this will in place of my said sons,
requesting that no surety be required
on their bond as such co-executors,
and that they have the same power and
authority with regard to the settlement
and administration of my estate heretofore
given to my said sons.
In the event of the prior death or disability
of all four persons named as executors
of substitue executors, I appoint First
Trust & Savings Bank of Kankakee
to be executor of this my will, with
all the same powers and authority hereinabove
given to my sons.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereto set
my hand and affixed my seal at Kankakee,
Illinois this 12th day of June A. D.
