OBITUARY:
LAURA VIOLA HASKER WRIGHT NEWCOMB
Born on a farm near Irwin, Illinois, Feburary
18, 1888.
Resided in Kankakee, Illinois, where she
graduated from the local High school.
She married McWayne Wright September 1,
1910, and lived in Gibson City, Illinois.
Mr. Wright died August 26, 1924.
She then married Walter H. Newcomb December
2, 1950 and resided at 1016 Highland Avenue,
Town of Tonawanda (Buffalo), NY. Moved
to Dunedin, Florida, March 5, 1958, where
she resided until her death October 24,
1968.
Survivers include her widower, Walter
H. Newcomb; two sons, Col. Edward M. Wright
(Ret.), Newport News, Va,. and Robert
H. Wright, Snyder (Buffalo), NY.; four
grandchildren; two cousins, Mrs. Frank
Schneider, Kankakee, Illinois, and Raymond
Hasker, Miami, Florida.
Graveside services will be held October
29th at Mound Grove Cemetery, Kankakee,
Illinois, at 1:30 p.m.
